If you are looking for high-quality luxury brands at fair prices or have designer pieces that you no longer wear, Buddy & Selly is your address. With us, you can buy and sell luxury fashion sustainably - without any stress and with the good feeling of doing something for the environment.

Authenticity Check

Every item we offer undergoes a careful inspection process with regard to its condition, quality and brand authenticity before we purchase it and offer it to our customers.

A whole range of authenticity features of the high-quality premium and luxury items are checked and assessed by our trained purchasing team. Our purchasing team receives regular training in this regard, as every luxury company of the various brands develops its authenticity criteria from time to time.

The items we offer are always 100% checked designer items.

For data protection reasons, we are unfortunately unable to send original invoices from previous owners. We also do not issue additional certificates of authenticity. However, if certificates are already available after purchase, we will be happy to provide them. But even without a certificate, you can use our invoice as proof that you have acquired a tested original.

Coupons

The €20 newsletter coupon for subscribing to the newsletter is valid for 14 days and can only be redeemed once with a minimum order value of €80. It will not be refunded or regenerated, even if you return the items in your order.

Newsletter coupons, discount coupons and goodwill coupons can be redeemed once per customer and order and will not be refunded or regenerated; the coupon will also expire if you return an item.

To redeem a coupon code, you should enter the code in the field provided on the way to the checkout before completing your order. Please note the redemption criteria. If all criteria are met, nothing should stand in the way of redemption.

Shipment

Buddy&Selly ships all orders as an insured parcel. You can choose between delivery by our logistics partners DHL or UPS (outside Germany). Shipping within Germany costs €6.99. Delivery takes place within 3-4 working days after receipt of payment. It is also possible to send smaller parcels by parcel post. The same criteria apply as for shipping with DHL Paket.

Delivery abroad:

In EU countries, delivery takes place within 3-7 working days. We charge shipping costs of €8.99 for shipping to Austria. For all other EU countries we charge €14.99 shipping costs with DHL or UPS. You will always receive an email from us with a link to track your parcel when it is dispatched.

If you do not receive this, first check the correct spelling of the e-mail address in your customer account. Please also check the spam or advertising folder in your e-mail inbox.

Of course, our customer service will also send you your personal consignment number by e-mail if you can no longer find it. In this case, please contact us at the following e-mail address: buy@buddyandselly.com

We only ship to EU countries. Belgium, Bulgaria, Denmark, Germany, Estonia, Finland, France, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Croatia, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Austria, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Sweden, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, the Czech Republic and Hungary.

Please note that island groups (Canary Islands, Balearic Islands, Azores and Channel Islands), and also due to Brexit, Great Britain cannot be supplied at the moment.

Buddy&Selly sends all orders - regardless of their size - as an insured parcel. You will receive an email from us with a link to track your parcel when it is dispatched.

You will receive a shipping confirmation email with your personal tracking link each time your order is handed over to the shipping service provider. Clicking on the link opens a window to the shipping service provider and your shipment tracking is called up.

If you have a customer account, you also have the option of tracking your shipment under your orders in your customer account.

If you have a customer account, you can also check your shipment tracking under your orders in your customer account.

If you are not able to see the progress of your shipment with DHL and UPS or if you can’t clearly see where your parcel has been delivered, please contact our customer service: buy@buddyandselly.com

Please note that it can take up to 48 hours for the shipment tracking to be updated after receipt of the dispatch confirmation.

We only send all parcels insured. In the event of loss or damage, it is therefore necessary to contact our customer service to initiate all further measures and possible steps. To do this, please send an e-mail to buy@buddyandselly.com and describe your concerns, stating the order number. Our customer service will then get back to you.

Please make sure to enter a valid delivery address. Especially when paying with PayPal, it is important that the delivery address entered with PayPal matches the address stored in the customer account, as PayPal obliges us to ship to the delivery address stored with PayPal without exception.

If you wish to change the delivery address after your purchase, this is only possible if the order is not yet in the dispatch process. We can no longer intervene in the dispatch process.

Please note that orders for which payment has already been received cannot be guaranteed to be dispatched by the requested date, as the dispatch process is too far advanced in this case.

 

To ensure flawless technical and logistical processing, a combined shipping is not possible

We therefore recommend that you only place an order once you have all the items you want in your shopping basket. This not only saves you shipping costs, but also makes a contribution to the environment!

For logistical reasons, we are unfortunately unable to offer a pick-up and fitting. Our shop is an online shop only.

If your order is returned to us, the parcel will usually be processed as a return. If it is a delivery error, our customer service is for any questions available and can check whether a reshipment is possible. To do this, please contact buy@buddyandselly.com, stating your order number.

Payment

We accept the following payment methods: PayPal, credit card payment, purchase on account with the payment service providers Klarna, payment by installments and Amazon Pay.

Depending on your chosen payment method, you will receive automatic information about your payment after placing your order. However, Buddy & Selly will not send you a payment confirmation for your purchase.

From us, the dispatch confirmation is proof of a positive transaction. As soon as we have received the payment, we will dispatch your purchase as quickly as possible.

After we have handed over your shipment to our shipping service provider, you will receive a notification from us to your registered e-mail address with the tracking link.

For the sake of the environment, we do not send invoices/delivery notes with your order. You will therefore receive your invoice in paperless form as a PDF file together with your dispatch confirmation by e-mail.

Refunds / Returns

We are happy to offer you a free return within 30 days. Please register your return online here. Log in with your e-mail address (the same one you used for your order in your customer account) and your order number (on the invoice at the top right under the date).

Select the item you wish to return and enter the reason for the return next to it. Then click on ‘Print return slip’ at the bottom. You now have the option of printing out the returns note and the shipping label as a PDF.

We will also send the document to the email address provided. Our returns are also insured. Keep the dispatch note for your return in a safe place and quote the consignment number if you have any queries about the status of your return.

As soon as we have received the return, we will process your return as quickly as possible within 14 days and refund the purchase price using the payment method you originally selected. You will also receive a notification to your registered e-mail address.

There is no direct confirmation after receipt. As all returns generated via our returns portal are insured, you have the option of tracking your return online on the DHL portal.

As soon as the processing of your return shipment begins, you will receive information about this via email.
You will also find information about the complete processing time.

Once your return has been processed, you will receive a further email confirmation of your refund with the corresponding credit note attached.

Provided you send your purchase back to us with our return label, all parcels are insured. Be sure to keep the dispatch note for your return and quote the consignment number if you have any queries about the status of your return.

If your return does not reach us, this can only be traced by us and the respective shipping company using the consignment number. We will initiate an investigation on your behalf and refund the value of your return if it is proven to be lost.

Unfortunately, it is not possible for us to provide our returns label in any other way. Perhaps you have a printer in your circle of friends and family or at work? It is also possible to have prints made in a copy shop near you. As your return is only free with our label, we would ask you not to do without our service. You have 30 days to return your order.

However, if you do not wish to use the service and return the goods at your own expense, please use the following address for the return shipment (we recommend insured return shipment):

Please note that we can only accept returns from EU countries, as we do not cover return shipping and customs costs. Return shipping is only possible for returns from countries to which we also ship.

You will generally receive your invoice with your dispatch confirmation as a PDF file. You can use the order number or the order number from your order confirmation to register your return.

Article Enquiries & Exchange

In our shop you will find high-quality second-hand brands and designer fashion. This means that most of the items are unique. Unfortunately, we cannot offer you an exchange.

However, we regularly put new items online and you can use the magnifying glass function to search for individual items.

If your purchase is already too far along in the shipping process, we offer free returns within 30 days.

The complaint period for second-hand items is generally one year. If you wish to make a complaint about your item after this period, it is unfortunately no longer possible to return it.

We are unable to answer specific questions about items as all items are already in our warehouse dnd ready for dispatch. We hope for your understanding.

Before placing an order, you can change your delivery address for an existing customer account in the "My account" area under "Addresses".

For address additions, use the address addition field for a correct address transmission.

When changing the delivery address, please also pay attention to your payment method. If you are paying with PayPal, it is important to enter the correct address in your PayPal account.
Due to buyer and seller protection, we are generally obliged to deliver to the address provided by PayPal in order to ensure a smooth process.
If you wish to change your address after a purchase, a change of address is unfortunately no longer possible for reasons of buyer and seller protection.

Yes, you can also order from Buddy & Selly with a guest account. However, we recommend that you create a customer account, as the functions we provide will make shopping much easier for you.

You can add items to your wish list that you would like to view or buy at a later date. Simply click on the button with the heart on the item.

It is necessary that you are already logged into your customer account so that you have access to your wish list from any device and your favorites are also saved. When you open the wish list, you will see all the items you have saved. By clicking on ‘Add to shopping basket’, you can then add your favorite items directly to your shopping basket.

If you have a customer account and have forgotten your password, simply use our ‘Forgotten password’ function in the login area. A new window will open when you click on the function - you can then enter your e-mail address here and you will receive an email with a link to reset your previous password.

If you click on the link, you will then have the option of creating a new password.

To change your password, you must first log in with your e-mail address and existing password. Then click on ‘Password’ in your customer account and change your password there.

In this case, you have the option to support social projects quickly and easily by donating the pieces we cannot purchase directly to the German Clothing Foundation.
Of course, you still have the option of having your entire parcel returned to you at your own cost.

For over 50 years, the German Clothing Foundation has been collecting, sorting, and distributing used and new clothing as a non-profit organization.   • Items must be in very good condition.
  • No oversizes/undersizes, custom-made or altered items.
  • No underwear, swimwear, sportswear, hosiery, or watches.
  • Must be listed in our accepted brand directory.
  • We do not buy fur. Reptile leather is only purchased if certified in line with CITES (Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species).
     

No, we do not buy children’s clothing.

For very high-end brands (e.g. Balenciaga, ChloÊ, Fendi, Givenchy, Gucci, Hermès, Louis Vuitton, MCM, Miu Miu), we require a copy of your ID. This is only for the protection of our buyers, and your data will of course be handled confidentially according to our privacy policy.

No, a receipt is not required. If you still have it, however, it helps us in the evaluation process – we appreciate it if you include it.

We at Buddy & Selly distinguish between:

  • New: Unworn, with original tag.
  • Very good: Rarely worn, flawless, minimal signs of wear.
  • Good: Worn, small flaws and signs of wear possible.

Currently, we offer our free insured service for parcels from Germany, Austria, and Luxembourg. Unfortunately, we cannot accept shipments from other countries at this time.

It’s free to send items to Buddy & Selly. Simply use our submission form, and we cover the postage (insured shipping up to 31 kg).
Please note: free shipping is only available from Germany, Austria, and Luxembourg.

We want to ensure a smooth selling experience. That’s why we always cover the return shipping costs.

Our expert team first checks items for authenticity, quality, and relevance. Based on these factors, as well as current demand and trends, our system calculates purchase prices. These are based on second-hand market parameters and are updated daily to offer you the best possible deal.
Condition and fashion relevance play a role in pricing. We strive to offer fair, market-driven prices for your items.

If you’re not happy with our offer or decide not to part with your items:
