The label's namesakes, Emily Current and Merritt Elliott, have been working together as a team since 1999. For ten years, the two worked as fashion consultants to ensure that celebrities from all over America had the best looks. During this time, Current and Elliott began to form their individual style, which they ultimately wanted to implement by founding their own label in 2008.

The two fashion designers started their jeans label in Los Angeles under the name Current/Elliott. Their network of VIPs quickly helped Current and Elliott achieve success. Hollywood stars such as Sarah Jessica Parker, Reese Witherspoon, Katie Holmes and Misha Barton quickly became fans of the new denim label and appeared in public wearing their favorite pieces from Current/Elliott.

In 2012, the two founders said goodbye to their company to devote themselves to other creative projects. The brand was not damaged by this. In recent years, Current/Elliott's range has been expanded to include tops that can be perfectly combined with the label's jeans.

A new denim look

Current/Elliott gives old things a completely new look. As self-confessed vintage fans, the two fashion designers gave their jeans a deceptively real vintage look right from the start. Classic cuts meet innovative looks here.
