Hogan Second Hand Pieces
The Hogan brand has been synonymous with sports-inspired collections since 1980. Like so many successful fashion companies, the brand originated in Italy: Hogan is part of the brand portfolio of the fashion group Tod's S.p.A., which has been successful for over a century. The company is now in its third generation, and the brand has retained its love and specialisation in shoes from its foundation to the present day.

Hogan – the sporty trendy shoes
Long before the Hogan brand was founded, a certain Filippo Della Valle decided to set up his own shoe factory at the beginning of the 20th century. Son Dorino, who took over the company, had already made far-reaching plans for exports. At the end of the 1970s at the latest, the company took the step to become an internationally active industrial group. Meanwhile, the Tod’s company was managed by his son Diego della Valle.
He was also the one who found it necessary in 1986 to make other brands strong using his own company resources. Although the Italian fashion group really couldn't complain about its successes, the new boss still lacked a sporty and modern brand. No sooner said than done: With Hogan he combined traditional craftsmanship with contemporary design. Within a short time, the new shoes conquered the international market, initially primarily in the brand's own flagship stores, and later also in other shops and stores.
The great success of the shoe models
The “Interactive”, launched in 1997, became Hogan’s best-known model and was from then on considered a symbol of the combination of luxury and functionality. The “Olympia” then managed to combine classic materials such as leather and modern techno fabrics. To this day, the label presents exclusive designer shoes in its collections, which are always popular in the fashion world.
A rather reserved color scheme underlines the casualness of Hogan's approach. Bags have now been added to the shoes, but otherwise the brand remains true to its line and specialization. Even Karl Lagerfeld was so impressed by the Hogan brand that he designed new women's shoes and bags for the brand under the name Hogan by Karl Lagerfeld in 2010 and in subsequent years.
