The Iro brand was founded in Paris by the two brothers Laurent and Arik Bitton. Before founding their own fashion label, the two initially pursued a career as rock musicians and, among other things, founded their own music label. It wasn't until 2005 that the two decided to dedicate themselves to fashion - the Iro label was born.

At the beginning of Iro, Laurent and Arik always trusted their friends' sense of style, as they themselves had little experience in the fashion market. Nevertheless, Iro's first mini collection, consisting of various T-shirts, jeans and a few dresses, was a complete success - the way for the label was paved.

Influences from New York and Paris

Under the motto, “French Touch meets New York street style”, the label combines high-quality fashion from Paris with New York streetwear. In fact, the label has both a creative office in Paris and one in New York so that it can always be close to the current fashion events in both fashion metropolises - always oriented towards rock chic, which had such a lasting impact on the founder's story. The high-quality designer pieces are characterized by their loose-fitting cut and sometimes sophisticated details such as intentional holes, while still being of the highest quality.

Since no other label was able to combine the influences of the two cities as harmoniously as Iro, the label developed into a company in the fashion world with its very own character.

Of course, the stars also rave about Iro's individual fashion. Supermodel Kate Moss has repeatedly mentioned Iro as one of her favorite brands for T-shirts, and even singer Rihanna can often be seen wearing the leather jackets. Canadian supermodel Coco Rocha also swears by Iro because, in her opinion, the company offers all the clothes a model needs in her closet.
