Miu Miu is characterized by her immediate, instinctive and spontaneous creative process in creating her pieces. Miuccia Prada likes to use cuts and designs that are currently available. Above all, it is this type of creation that sets Miu Miu apart from its older sister Prada, which shines as a legendary star in the luxury fashion firmament. Nevertheless, it is clear to see how much Miu Miu refers to Prada in its pieces - but this equation also applies the other way around. A look, fabric or theme originally designed for a Prada collection can be revived by Miu Miu a few seasons later - distorted or reinvented to suit the designer's needs. Or the other way around. Miu Miu combines lightness with energetic sophistication
In 1995, top model Kate Moss became the face of the label at New York Fashion Week. The star of the show brought Miu Miu even more into the spotlight of the fashion industry and gave the label exactly the perfect combination of youthfulness and determination that their individual pieces successfully try to reflect. In 1997, Drew Barrymore became the first celebrity to grace a Miu Miu advertising campaign. She channels the label's youthful rebellion perfectly. Over the years, Miu Miu's celebrity advertising campaigns have continued, helping to catapult androgynous, retro and slightly different looks into the public eye. The label becomes the epitome of a new generation of fashion lovers who, despite rebellious designs, do not want to forego luxury and quality.
